TRACKER PREDATOR FROM HOT TOYS

Finally got my Tracker Predator from the movie Predators (2010). In this film three new types of Predator were shown. The Berserker, Falconer and Tracker Predator. They appear larger than the normal Predator, they are also stronger and had several new tools and pets to aid them. Lets take a quick peak at my latest Predator.

As you flip the box open you will be treated to another photo of the figure,

this time with his alien looking hound.

Here is the hound fully assembled.

All the spikes can be removed.

The paint application was good, a minor set back is that it has no articulation.

For a product in this price range i was hoping that at least it can move its legs.

The head sculpt was excellent.

One thing that distinguishes him from the rest are the tusk in his mask.

Like other Hot Toys Predator he had light up aiming system and articulated shoulder cannon.

Several battle scratches are also visible in his mask.

He also had a detailed body armour and several leather works.

The skin of the Predator was well detailed and the paint application was also good.

His blade came in three sizes, much like the Berserker's and Falconer's.

The Tracker Predator came with a pair of close fists, a pair for holding the leash and a pair of open palms.

A figure stand with movie logo was also included.

SCI-FI REVOLTECH NO.022 PREDATOR

A few days ago Hot Toys announced that they would release the classic predator from the Predators 2010 movie. I was so excited that i pre-ordered it as soon as i can. So the long wait starts till Hot Toys release their classic predator and for my Tracker Predator to arrive. For now let take a look at another Predator from revoltech's sci-fi toy line. The sci-fi revoltech line features the same revoltech joints, so we have excellent articulation.

The quality and sculpting of this figure is impressive even the paint application is done nicely.

I did not see any excess and overlapping paint.

Check out the mean face. Even the eyes is painted clearly.

The shoulder cannon is also articulated.

It came with extra hands (2 left and 2 right). The basic circular base is also provided.

Given that the figure is so flexible it is some times hard to balance him.

The predator mask can be attached easily.

Take a look at the mechanism in its arm. It opens to reveal some detail,

as you can recall the self destruct bomb is activated using this device.

The blade in his right arm can be extended.

Lastly  he came with an orange box, maybe its a container for his extra gears!

A name plate is also provided. Plus a revoltech coin.

All in all this figure not only excels in articulation but also in the quality of paint and detail. Together with extra hands, a container and name plate. This figure is worth every penny.

To me this is the best predator in 6 inch scale

MATER BY LEGO

Mater is a fictional character from the animated film Cars and Cars 2. In the first film he played the role of Lightning McQueen's side kick and best friend. It was only in the second film that Mater became the main protagonist of the film.

Mater is made up of about 40 Lego bricks.

He is about 3 inches in length and 2 inches in height.

LIGHTNING MCQUEEN FROM LEGO

Lightning McQueen is the main character in the 2006 film Cars. It was believed that he was named after the Pixar animator Glenn McQueen who passed away due to skin cancer. McQueen was a fusion of NASCAR vehicle and several other cars. Actor Owen Wilson gave voice to the character of Lightning McQueen.

Here it is, Lego's version of Lightning McQueen.

McQueen is made up of about 28 to 30 pieces of Lego bricks.

He is about 3 inches in length and an inch in height.

I'm sure every fan of the movie would like this Lego version of Mcqueen.

DANBOARD BY KAIYODO REVOLTECH

Most of the time we see Dan Board being used as a photography subject or as a wallpaper. At first i thought it was custom made. But recently i saw the toy being sold in a local toy store. The toy was manufactured by the  Japanese company Kaiyodo under its Revoltech toy line. I'm surprised that Dan Board is actually a girl, the character  came from an anime comic book. This is my first revoltech figure and I'm looking forward to getting other characters especially from their new Sci-fi Revoltech toy line.

As rigid as the figure is we can still make several poses.

Dan Board came with a figure base and has a light up eyes. Very cool.

JASON BOURNE KITBASH

Jason Bourne was the main character in the movies Bourne Identity 2002, Bourne Supremacy 2004 and Bourne Ultimatum 2007. He was an assassin for the United States government, until he failed a mission that lead to his amnesia. Without a clue as to who he was and why the government wants him dead. Jason is determined to regain his memories.

Staring actor Matt Damon.

Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) returned to the big screen as The Bourne Supremacy was released on 2004.

The Bourne Ultimatum was the final chapter in the trilogy.

The body together with the clothes came from Entry Bay.

Head Sculpt resembling actor Matt Damon.

Being an assassin we know that Jason Bourne is good with weapons even hand to hand combat, but to me he is deadly because he can gather information and uses it to plan his move and stay one step ahead.

DCUC GUY GARDNER

Guy Gardner is a character and a superhero from DC comics. He is a member of the Green Lantern Corps. and of the Justice League. 

John Broome and Gil Kane created Guy Gardner and patterned him after the actor Martin Milner. Guy first appeared in Green Lantern #59 (March 1968). Several changes was made in the character in 1980s by Steve Englehart and Keith Giffen. The changes by the two remains as of to date.

The character was often mistaken to be named after NASA astronaut Guy Gardner, but is really named after a fan named Guy H. Lillian III and the writer Gardner Fox.

Guy Gardner first appeared in Green Lantern Vol. 2 #59 March 1968

I think he came from the Walmart five pack Green Lantern which includes

Hal Jordan, Sinestro, Tomar Re and John Stewart.

Close up of the figure. The sculpt and pain job of this figure is good and his jacket had good detail.

I think he really resembles the comic book version.

DCUC GREEN LANTERN CH'P

Ch'p is from the planet H'lven. When Doctor Ub'x invaded his home world, he participated in defending it.
He was captured by the evil doctor and was given a death sentence. Fortunate for him one of the Guardians secretly made him a member of the Corps., mainly to replace the Green Lantern who died fighting in the defense of planet H'lven. Gaining the power of the ring Ch'p defeated the invaders.

Ch'p went to Green Lantern HQ and was instructed by Kilowog on how to further enhance his abulities and to use the ring. He became Green Lantern of sector 1014.

He is not as articulated as the other DCUC figures, but still a nice addition to the GL Corps.

Like the other Green Lanterns figures his ring was molded to his hands.

HALO JUMPER KITBASH

Here is another High Altitude Low Opening (HALO) jumper. Most of the parts for this kitbash are from older companies such as Dragon and BBI. So keep your older supplies they are still very usefull for kitbahes. Lets check it out.

He wears a black jump suit, Oakley boots and gloves, HGU 55 helmet.

His weapons include XM-177 and a glock 21 pistol.
