The 75^th ranger regiment is an elite light infantry unit that operates as a Special Forces unit under the United States Army Special Operations Command. The 75^th ranger regiment is composed of four battalions and is headquartered at Fort Benning, Georgia.

STORM SHADOW BY HOT TOYS PART 2

Storm Shadow is back to show you his gear. Unlike the Snake Eye figure that came with several fire arms, Storm Shadow only have a pistol. But since Storm Shadow is not your typical soldier, he had goodies much better than your standard guns. Check out his awesome weaponry by scrolling down.

Storm Shadow came with his twin swords. Hot Toys made an excellent replica of his swords both marked with the Arashikage clan logo.

Both scabbards can be stored at the back.

 

 

  Like in the movies, Storm Shadow’s twin sword can be combined to form a weapon similar to Darth Mauls light sabers. So how do you merge the swords? Well Hot Toys did provide a small piece for that (see middle piece).

 

 

First you remove the end part of both swords. Then reconnect them using the connector.

 

 

 

 

  He also came with several shuriken and a pair of sai.

STORM SHADOW BY HOT TOYS PART 1

Storm Shadow is a fictional character from the G.I. Joe franchise. He is popularly known as Cobra Commander’s ninja assassin. A member of the Arashikage ninja clan Storm Shadow is an expert in several forms of martial arts. He is also proficient in the use of bladed weapons and throwing stars. Aside from assassinations, Cobra Commander relies on Storm Shadow for intelligence gathering and sabotage. His wide set of skills makes Storm Shadow Cobra’s most valuable asset.

Actor Lee Byung-Hun portrayed the role of Storm Shadow.

 

Storm Shadow came with an alternate head, this time he is wearing his mask.

 

 

Storm Shadow came with several pairs of hand. Among them are a pair of relaxed palm and a pair for holding his fire arm or pistol.

 

Next is a set of hands for his shuriken (throwing stars) and a pair for holding his swords.

SNAKE EYES BY HOT TOYS PART 2

G.I. Joe’s greatest ninja is back and now loaded with all sorts of weapons. Scroll down to learn more about what our ninja master brings with him when going face to face with Cobra minions.

Snake Eyes’ side arm of choice is the FNX-9 as for his main fire arm he is equipped with the Heckler & Koch MP7A1.

 

 

FNX-9 uses 9x19mm rounds.

 

If you look closely you’ll notice that Snake Eyes is actually left handed. Most of the time 1/6^th scale figures are right handed; their side arm holster is at the right thigh or hip. Only a handful of figures are supplied with a left hand configuration. ( Snake Eyes is only my second left handed figure.).

 

MP7A1 personal defense weapon uses 4.6x30mm rounds.

Snake also carries two fighting knives.

 

  One of the knives is sheathed at his right side the other one is at the back.

 

 

  Snake Eyes came with two different swords. One came with a silver edge and the other in color black. Both swords bare the Arashikage clan logo.

 

 

Snake Eyes keeps his swords tucked at the back along with his knife and several utility pouches.

SNAKE EYES BY HOT TOYS PART 1

Snake Eyes is the G.I.Joe team’s hand to hand expert and trainer. He is proficient in several hand to hand combat styles and is an excellent marksman. But Snake Eyes' specialty is in the use of edged weapons, particularly with the katana. He was trained by the Arashikage clan along with the ninja in white, Stormshadow.

Snake Eyes carries his scabbard at the back, as well as several pouches.

Aside from the fist hands Snake Eyes came with a pair of open palm,

a pair of relaxed palms.

 

 

A pair for holding guns and  a pair for holding his swords.

Another thing that got my attention is the pair of boots.
