MINIONS IN YOUR HAPPY MEAL PART1

Before going to see Kevin, Stuart and Bob in the big screen, why not drop by McDonald's and get your happy meals. Each Happy meal comes with a Minion figure. All in all there are ten Minion figures to choose from. A bit of warning to collectors who wish to complete the whole set, these little guys are tough to find. Due to the characters popularity, most of them are already sold out. I went to more than a dozen branches to collect all of them. Happy hunting guys and enjoy.

At the back of the figure is a lever that activates his arm with the banana.

GHOSTFACE BY ASMUS TOYS

As Halloween is here creepy and scary movies are a hit. After watching some classic movies myself, I dug up my Ghostface 12 inch figure to celebrate Halloween and at the same time relive the glory days of classic horror movies. I hope you like him. Again Happy Halloween to everyone.
One of the best old school scary movie, Scream.

Just like in the movie Ghostface’s costume is mostly black. Black shoe, black pants and black hooded cloak. He came with his favorite murder weapon a dagger. As his name suggests, the main focus of the costume is his mask.

Ghostface is a serial killer and the prime antagonist in the Scream series.

NICKELODEON TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES FISHFACE

Name: Xever
Specie: Mutant
Weapons: Sword, knife & venom
Team: Foot Clan

Once a lowly street thug, Xever was recruited by the Foot Clan. Serving directly under The Shredder Xever became a skilled fighter. After being mutated by the Kraang, Xever became the mutated fish known as Fishface and still serves as a loyal member of Shredder’s Foot Clan ninja.

Fishface from the Nickelodeon TMNT TV series.

Closer look at Fishface head sculpt.
I was impressed with the sculpting detail as well as the painted eyes.

Fishface is equipped with robotic legs and a water breather. Fishface figure has around 9 points of articulation including the tail.

Here is a closer view of his breathing apparatus and the scales on his body.

Back view showing his tail and breathing apparatus.

Fishface came with a knife as well as a large sword.

The sword is as tall as Fishface himself.

NICKELODEON TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES DOGPOUND

Name: Chris Bradford
Specie: Mutant
Weapons: Canine claws and spikes
Team: Foot Clan

Chris Bradford before he mutated into Dogpound.

The figure is not in scale with the other figures such as the turtles and the foot soldier. I think that he should definitely be bigger and taller.

Dogpound’s back spikes can be attached pretty easily.

Next is his tail which can be attached via a peg.

Spikes and tail attached to the figure.
His tail can be rotated much like Master Splinter’s tail.

Close up of Dogpound’s spiked arm.

The figure has hollow feet and due to his heavy body the figure has a bit of problem standing on its own.

The figure has nice sculpting in it. But I think that it needs more paint. Upon closer inspection you can see that several straps on his torso and feet are sculpted in but not painted. I think that the figure would definitely improve if more paint detail was given to it.

STORM SHADOW BY HOT TOYS PART 2

Storm Shadow is back to show you his gear. Unlike the Snake Eye figure that came with several fire arms, Storm Shadow only have a pistol. But since Storm Shadow is not your typical soldier, he had goodies much better than your standard guns. Check out his awesome weaponry by scrolling down.

Storm Shadow from the G.I. Joe Retaliation movie.

Storm Shadow came with his twin swords. Hot Toys made an excellent replica of his swords both marked with the Arashikage clan logo.

Both scabbards can be stored at the back.

Like in the movies, Storm Shadow’s twin sword can be combined to form a weapon similar to Darth Mauls light sabers. So how do you merge the swords? Well Hot Toys did provide a small piece for that (see middle piece).

First you remove the end part of both swords. Then reconnect them using the connector.

He also came with several shuriken and a pair of sai.

All hail COBRA!!!
