Here is my
review on Playmates toys TMNT Classic Leonardo. I know it’s a bit late but I’m
a huge fan of the 80's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cartoon so I needed to complete
them. You can view the other turtles by clicking here (Michelangelo, Raphael
and Donatello).
Leonardo is
the designated leader of the turtle gang. He wields two katana swords and like
the others is well versed in hand to hand combat and other ninja techniques. Aside
from his signature weapon, he is wearing a blue bandana and a buckle with the letter
L to easily identify him. Being the leader of the group means having more
responsibility, thus making Leonardo a bit more mature. In the current
Nickelodeon reincarnation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Leonardo still
leads his brothers in combat but this time around he is a bit more relax and
has a lighter aura.
It took me
quite a while to get my Leonardo figure, thus the delay, but is finally here. Big
thanks to Playmates for making an excellent rendition of the 80’s TMNT action
figure.
Leonardo as
seen in the classic 80’s cartoon. Brings back good memories!
Playmates
Classic Leonardo with 34 points of articulation. Leonardo came with two katana
blade and like in the classic Ninja Turtles cartoon had his initial on his belt
buckle.
At the back
we get a nice scabbard for storing his swords.
Every
Playmates TMNT classic figure came with a manhole cover design stand with name
on it. A nice and simple design that fits the Turtle theme.
From left to
right is Raphael with his red bandana, Leonardo in Blue, Michelangelo in orange
and Donatello in purple.
Pizza
time!!! COWABUNGA!!!
