Arthur Curry also known as Aquaman is a fictional comic books superhero. He first appeared in the comic book
More Fun Comics #73 in 1941
. He was created by writer Mort Weisinger and artist Paul Norris. Aquaman as we know is the king of Atlantis. Being the king and a hero, he defended the seven seas as well as the surface dwellers or the humans, even though they don't appreciate him much. He is also part of the Justice League along with other more popular heros such as Batman and Superman. I mentioned more popular heros because base from observation most people tend to neglect Aquaman as compared to the other superheros or members of the JL. But as DC comics release their New 52. I began to read and appreciate the art and story of Aquaman. I hope that they would keep on improving this comic book title and I am looking forward to the next issues.
