Jack Bauer is the main character in the tv series 24 (season 1 to 8). He is a counter terrorist unit (CTU) agent. But before joining CTU Jack was a special operations officer, he also worked for the LA police and the secretive CIA. Jack is well known for his use of unique methods (torture) in extracting information. His methods may be questioned by his superiors, but Jack never fails to deliver and accomplish his missions in due time.
