Aquaman’s
arch enemy Black Manta first appeared in Aquaman No. 35 back in 1967. As the
Aquaman comic book was re-launched by DC comics, so does the character of Black
Manta. Just like in the old books Black Manta is still one of the biggest threats
to Aquaman. Black Manta’s suit is specially made for deep sea exploring and
fighting. His suit provides him with extra human strength, a telepathic
scrambler to counter Aquaman and the ability to breath underwater.
Aquaman #35 (1967).
New 52 Black
Manta.
Black Manta
figure sculpted by Jean St. Jean.
Black Manta has around 13 points of
articulation
and came with two swords and a triangular blade.
Black Manta
keeps his weapons in his back.
Although the
figure is all black,
if you look closer the figure has excellent sculpted
details on it.
