For the most part we know that Cyborg is a member of the Teen Titans. But in the resent Justice League the New 52, Cyborg is one of the members of the JL. Based from the new 52 JL, Victor Stone is a football star. After one of his games he went to his father's laboratory to ask why is it that he always misses his games. His father Silas was examining a box when suddenly it exploded killing several scientists and badly wounding Victor. To save his life his father connected his broken body with one of his research experiments, an advance prosthetics. Thus Victor became Cyborg.
