Black Adam is a fictional character published by Fawcett
Comics from 1945 to 1973. He was created
by Otto Binder and C.C. Beck. Later on DC comics earned the publishing rights
for the Captain Marvel A.K.A. Shazam title. Black Adam is the predecessor and arch enemy of
Shazam. Like Shazam he too has magical powers which include super strength,
speed, high intellect, invulnerability and many more. Most recently Black Adam
was published in the Justice League New 52 as a bonus storyline. The bonus
story focuses on how a boy acquired powers and became Shazam.
Black Adam first appeared in the Marvel Family #1 (1945)

Black Adam
figure has around 11 points of articulation.
Good sculpted and painted details. His lightning symbol has
painted detail simulating power surges. His suit and belt has engraved details
as well.
Close up of Black Adam’s mean looking head sculpt.
Black Adam
was sculpted by Phil Ramirez.
Another thing that caught my attention was his boots. In the
old comic books Black Adam had a simple yellow colored boot. But look at his
boots now, what an improvement.
The cape was a welcome addition in Black Adams costume. T
he
cape is made of soft rubber and is permanently fix, so do not attempt to remove
it.
Closer look at his cape shows engraved detail and several
holes.
The tattered look on his cape shows how ancient Black Adam is.
Nice
touch DC.

DC made an excellent Black Adam figure. I like the facial expression,
the new boots and his tattered cape. This figure is highly recommended.
