ARKHAM CITY SERIES 4: NIGHTWING

Nightwing is a fictional character from the Batman story arc. When Richard “Dick” Grayson was young, Batman took him under his wing and made him Robin. As years past young Robin grew up and when he turned 18 he took on the name Nightwing. Although not a Robin anymore Dick is still in contact with mentor Bruce Wayne and is part of the Batman Inc. group. Due to his acrobatic background combined with years of detective work as Batman’s partner. Nightwing became a formidable crime fighter. Nightwing is often seen using Eskrima tonfas as his weapon of choice. Due to Nightwings popularity the title was one of the many rebooted in DC’s the New 52 event.

DC Collectibles Arkham City series 4: Nightwing. He came with a pair of Eskrima Tonfa as his only accessories.

 

Head sculpt of the figure in not that great but is still good compared to other releases of Nightwing.

 

The tonfas can be clipped to the back of the figure as shown.

Due to limited articulation the figure is hard to pose. Another thing is that the figure is unbalanced maybe due to his feet. I’m having a hard time keeping him upright.

BANE "THE DARK KNIGHT RISES" BY HOT TOYS

Finally Hot Toys has released MMS183 The Dark Knight rises: Bane 1/6^th scale figure. Base from comic book story arcs, Bane is the toughest enemy for the Bat in terms of physical strength. But in the movie by director Nolan Bane had a very strategic mind making him deadlier than before. Bane was famous for breaking the back of the Dark Knight and for almost ending his career as a crime fighter.

As we open the box, we get a second art work of Bane. 

 

 

 Bane out of the box. The vest is very well detailed. The muscular body used for the figure is nice and sturdy.

 As always the head sculpt together with the paint application is excellent.

 

 

 From the side the head looks perfect.

 

 

 Bane came with a very nice rusted effect figure stand with his name plate in the center.

 

 

 He also came with a broken Batman mask.

 

 

 Bane came with his leather jacket which he wore during the stadium scene in the movie. He also came with a black sweater, apologies for not showing it, will try some other time.
